A journey to the Lord

Tiptoeing discreetly through the
mazes of my mind, to find the
one that once was I.

Through the catacombs of my past,
to the confusion that is my
present, on a journey towards my
future that alludes me every step
of the way.

Pleadingly I wept for the answers
unknown, to find my self in the
grip of the all mighty Lord
alone.

Caring and softly He whispered
what no flesh would know. He
Peered into my heart and
soothed every restless beat
one by one.    

Love He said, love will conquer
all. His indescribability leaves
me gobsmacked every waking second
of the day.

The fact of His incomprehensible
love towards me, is the beauty
with which I see the world
day by day.
